The proposal involves development under the Town and Country Planning Act 1990, and the Local Planning Authority considers that based on the drawings submitted as part of the application, the proposal cannot be considered to be 'permitted development' as specified in Schedule 2 to the Town and Country Planning (General Permitted Development) (Amendment) (No.2) (England) Order 2008, in that the property is covered by an article 4 direction withdrawing permitted development rights as a condition of the original planning consent to develop the site, in the respect that all extensions and alterations to properties require the consent of the local authoriity.
