The proposed dwellinghouse would be out of character with the surrounding built form in terms of scale and massing and would not relate to the surrounding properties resulting in an unwarranted visual intrusion that would undermine the established street scene causing unacceptable harm to visual amenity, contrary to Policies HD18 (General Design Requirements) of the Liverpool Unitary Development Plan.
