Given the corner location of the application property and its long range of visibility, the bulk and massing of the two storey extension at side/rear and dormer at rear would result in an over dominant and incongruous feature within the street scene which is characterised by modest semi detached dwellings. The proposed extensions wuld create a detrimental impact upon visual amenity within the street scene, contrary to Policies H8 and HD18 of the Liverpool Unitary Development Plan.
