The proposed porch , by virtue of its projection from the main front walls of the property would be excessive and unduly prominent in the street scene when viewed against the existing street scene that is characterised by relatively low impact and non-intrusive forward projections. As such the proposal would not be compliant with Saved Policy H8 and SPG1
